PETROGLYPHS OF TORO MUERTO AND RIVER RAFTING IN MAJES
(FULL DAY)
Departure at 06:00 am toward the
Valley of Majes. Arrival Majes we'll visit the famous petroglyphs of TORO MUERTO
are 5 km2 of volcanic rocks etched with figures anthropomorphic, zoomorphic, and
others, with a length of more than 800 years. In this area there are two
villages Corire and Aplao where its people are engaged in planting rice, beans
and fruits. We´ll continue to Punta Colorada along the River Majes (Colca)
where you can taste the shrimp. After receiving a instructions for rafting, a
beautiful adventure for quick grades 2 and 3. Return to Arequipa. Arrival in the
afternoon to Arequipa.

Output by Chiguata village which has terraces, stone houses where you can also
see birds highlands, the trip from Arequipa to Salinas Lake are 2 1/ 2 hours.
Arrival in Salinas Lake which is located behind the snowy Pichu Pichu in this
place we will see migratory birds in particular Flamingos. In the afternoon
return to Arequipa.
